What's better than a vintage poodles novelty print? Black poodles screen-printed on pink and white gingham fabric, of course! This wacky, unique 80s strapless mini dress combines a cotton knit tube top bodice in black, with lace trim around its top edge, attached to a gathered, flirty miniskirt in pink cotton blend gingham with the aforementioned poodles, frolicking all around the hem! The tube top bodice extends down to the high hip, so the skirt portion doesn't begin until then, and it is around mid-thigh length, depending of course, on how tall you are. This fun summer dress is unlined, and it is in very good condition, with just a hint of fading from normal laundering. The original owner, who sold us this 80s dress, lived and worked in LA at the time, so it was almost certainly purchased in California, but it has no label to give us any more information. It's a great example of the influence that 1950s styles had on clothing of the 1980s the black and pink color combo, and the poodles!
