The best 1950s jet black gabardine Dayne Taylor dress with zip front, draped back, pleated skirt and sleeves. Pop over collar that can also be worn open as a Johnny collar. Functional pockets with cloth covered buttons. Literally my dream dress but it’s really meant for someone taller. I’m gutted.

Issues are minor for what the dress is. It presents amazingly despite flaws. One tiny hole near top of zipper. A manufacturing defect on the skirt near the dart. Whomever machine stitched the dart missed and put an accidental few stitches here and then removed them. Someone hemmed it a few inches but didn’t cut anything, could be left as is or let back down.
