A perfume as complex and dazzling as the woman who wears.

The notes conjure, in scent, the delicate gold leafing and play between light and shadow, for which the painting is celebrated. Perfumer Calice Becker was inspired by the fascinating contrast between the painting’s facets, which she describes as “texturized and brilliant, rich and voluptuous". Its zesty luminosity is the fragrant expression of this brightness. The petal-y rose heart depicts all of the facets of the rose. Finally, vanilla absolute’s unctuosity appears generously in the dry down, adorned by an exclusive patchouli molecule, the Akigalawood.

The perfume Woman in Gold is part of the Kilian Paris Narcotics family. From rose to tuberose, from orange blossom to gardenia… Kilian flowers are composed like a narcotic dependence.

A lot of attention is taken to each bottle of Kilian Paris refillable perfume, to make them real precious objects. The perfume bottles of the narcotics family are adorned with a distinctive white lacquer and their bottle has been meticulously engraved on each side, with the representation of the Achilles shield.

Like Kilian Hennessy says: "In perfumery, it is as much about seduction as it is about protection.” A gold metal plate on which the name of the perfume is engraved by hand adds an extra touch of sophistication.
