These mirrors are designed for OE electrical integration. Confirm your vehicle has the factory heated mirror wiring before ordering — if your Prius came without heated mirrors, you may need to add a separate control module.

Do I need a special tool to remove the old mirror?

You'll need basic hand tools to access the mounting bolts from inside the door panel. Once you remove the interior trim, the bolts are straightforward. Disconnect the power harness before pulling the old mirror free.
