Will the lip clear my parking garage / driveway approach angles?

The AF-1 lip sits below the OEM bumper without aggressive extension. Before ordering, measure your current bumper-to-ground clearance and the approach angle of your driveway. If you already scrape the stock bumper, this addition will reduce clearance slightly.

Should I drill and bolt, or use adhesive to install?

Both methods work. Adhesive (automotive-grade polyurethane or epoxy) offers a clean install with no visible fasteners. Drilling allows future removal without residue. Surface prep—sand and clean thoroughly—is critical either way. Your choice depends on whether you want permanent integration or reversibility.

What prep is needed before painting?

Sand the surface with appropriate grit and clean away all dust and oil. FRP accepts most automotive primers and paints, but test a small area first if using an unfamiliar product. A quality clear coat will protect the finish and extend durability.
