Will this wing clear my trunk lid when it opens?

The RKS profile is designed as a high-mount wing. Before installation, verify clearance with your trunk lid fully open. Measure from the top of the trunk opening to where the wing base will sit. If fitment is tight, you may need to adjust mounting height slightly or verify the exact mounting points on your setup.

What mounting pattern does this use?

This assembly is a three-piece design with its own mounting brackets and base. Verify that the mounting holes align with any existing factory drilling on your vehicle, or plan for new holes if converting from a different spoiler. Reference your vehicle's service documentation for approved drilling locations on the trunk or rear panel.

Does the carbon fiber need any prep before installation?

The wing arrives with clear coat applied. Inspect the finish before mounting. If you need to drill new holes or modify mounting surfaces, sand and prep those areas before assembly. Once installed, the clear coat protects the carbon weave from UV exposure and minor weather exposure — no additional sealing is required for normal use.
