This is a giclée print the largest painting I’ve painted to date.
It is titled “Alternative Belfast All Lit Up At Night”
I wanted to create a piece that encapsulated some the changes I’ve see in in Belfast since moving back home after living 14 years away.
Walking around the city centre on a Saturday night I definitely felt a new vibrancy & energy to city but also the rawness & industrial feel from a bygone era still definitely remained.

Belfast city itself is also becoming increasingly multicultural with people travelling from all over the world to either live or visit. This is the reason I decided to collage local & french poster into the piece.
This city is also one of the street art capitals of Europe so I also wanted to evoke the feeling of the street art movement of 1980s New York into the painting.
A movement that greatly influences my work.

This is a signed, limited edition Giclée print. It is printed on Cotton Rag Fine Art paper. This print comes unframed.
