Another piece for your DDR NVA (Deutsche Demokratische Republik Nationale Volksarmee) set, or a simple, lightweight, water resistant trench to keep the wet stuff off - the NVA rain jacket.

These have a water resistant outer and rubberised interior, additionally a layer around the upper inner torso assumed to act like a moisture vapour permeable layer. These come with belts (stashed in the pockets), adjustable belted cuffs and buttons on the underside of the collar to attach hoods which are unfortunately not included (though a few have a surprise hood stashed in a pocket too). Rank insignia can be attached via small loops and buttons to each shoulder. There is a little variation in hue to these coats but all are a degree of olive drab and in excellent quality, appearing to be unissued. The rubberised interior is in good condition but may be susceptible to abrasion wear, due to their age. The trench itself is very lightweight and packs down to a small size. Keep one handy to keep the rain off your rain camo, complete a kit or just generally stay dry in normal everyday situations.
