Effects of this medicine
・This medicine blocks the histamine 2 receptors of the gastric mucosa, thus suppress the secretion of stomach acid.
・It is usually used in the treatment of gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastritis and esophagitis.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・For the treatment of gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, anastomotic ulcer, upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, reflux esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome:In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (20mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice daily (after breakfast, and after supper or before going to bed). You may also take 4 tablets (40mg) at a time, once daily (before going to bed).
・For the treatment of gastric mucosal lesions associated with acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis:In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (10mg) at a time, twice daily (after breakfast, and after supper or before going to bed). You may also take 2 tablets (20mg) at a time, once daily (before going to bed).
・The dosage may be adjusted according to your disease, age or symptoms.
・In any case, strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. ・You should never take two doses at one time.
