ESCALE EN HAITI … a stopover in the region of les Cayes where the famous Vetiver is cultivated. A « Grand Cru » labeled Vetiver extract has been used in high dosage in this Cologne.

A background view on Eau de Colognes:

L’eau de Cologne was created in 1709 by J.M. Farina, the name of which comes from the city where it was first produced. Its nickname was « admirable water », and the original formula is composed of a blend of distillation waters from different plants, called hydrolat, and a few pure essential oils, all mixed together with pure alcohol.

The Cologne is less concentrated -which makes it more light, fresh and subtle than a usual perfume. Perfect for summer days!
