It contains 12 separate speeches, including extensive content related to the Indian Removal Acts, the Trail of Tears, and an extensive discussion about the legislative structures that permit Alabama, Georgia, and other States in the South to cease possession of Native lands, etc.,

An important first-hand, primary document detailing with surgical precision the legal structures that helped perpetrate one of the most all-encompassing genocides in history. At the beginning of European settlement on the America Continent, there were an estimated 9 millions Native Americans. By 1900, there were less than 300,000 with a genocide rate of over 95%.
