What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

Evotech Performance have developed EP Spindle Bobbins to guard the front fork lowers, brake calipers, spindle retainers and swingarm. Fitting neatly through the front wheel of the BMW R 1250 R Sport, the nylon bobbin head and aluminium core offer hard-wearing protection whilst the nylon is able to rotate with impact to reduce stress and wear. Mounted via a supplied stainless steel spindle with rolled threads and fasteners.
