Gedore 2922819 Fuel Filter Cap Installation Tool, 3 Stud - GD KL-0289-10

Very useful tool allowing for the torsion-free mounting of fuel filter caps on fuel filters; required, for example, after changing the fuel filter cartridge. The fuel filter cap installation tool is designed to press the fuel filter cap evenly and in a torsion-free manner into the seal seat in the fuel filter housing. Then, the fuel filter can be fixed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Note: If a fuel filter cap is inserted into the seal seat in the fuel filter housing without the use of our special tool but by means of the fastening screws, there is a risk that the fuel filter cap is subjected to torsional stress during installation which could lead to leakage in the fuel filter unit. By means of the fuel filter cap mounting tool, the fuel filter cap is uniformly torsion-free pressed into the seal seat of the fuel filter housing. Then, the fuel filter cap is fixed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Note: If the fuel filter cap is pulled into the seal seat of the fuel filter housing without a fuel filter cap mounting tool, but by means of the fastening screws, there is a risk that the fuel filter cap will twist and the tightness of the fuel filter unit is therefore no longer guaranteed.
