The pigment carries subtle warm yellow undertones that distinguish it from cooler greys like Étain and Gris Perle, reading as a softer middle-ground neutral that bridges warm and cool palettes. On Togo the color sits deep and matte across the pebbled grain, with the leather's raised texture catching pigment unevenly to produce visual depth. Gris Meyer is one of the more recent additions to the Hermès grey palette, allocated selectively across Togo, Epsom, and exotic leathers since 2022. Early-cycle production with Gold hardware is meaningfully scarcer than later Palladium examples, with the warm hardware pairing intentionally amplifying the color's yellow undertones.
